When Straws become Art …

The recent project was too change the ecology of an object. My chosen object was the drinking straw. The installation of the work(s) was a differcult decison and i felt i had not captured the work the way i wanted. It was shown on a floor in the foyer of my art school.. Tara Donovan is the artist i am getting most of my inspiration for this work. I decided to put together this little movie to give the work another life and perhaps help me to look at how else i could develop the idea, The straws were cut to different links and stuck together using a hot clue gun. click on this link to see some of the images in my facebook album www.facebook.com
