@Pjomell You are right, the editor did flip the shot, it would of be for the screen direction, in the original shot she would be looking from right to left and they flipped it so she would be looking left to right to match the other shots.

@jacobbobcorn i don’t think they were at anytime implying the humans were in danger here. All they were doing is releasing the repellent and seeing if they would stop eating the food in the water.

so if repellent is administered next to net, we can have less shark deaths?

the entire thing was staged i supposed. i mean, they didnt really need to have the humans as their first test. it wouldve been too risky.

Hmm, a sunscreen that smells like dead rotting sharks, how interesting. They should also try it on relatives to see if it repels them too.

BP oil is a good shark repellent. It actually repels ALL water wildlife . & kills it .

I think here is another good idea. make documentary or show about ghost. I think ghost or religion is the one of the sciences. and discovery channel is making some show or documentary about ghost and religion. wow shit.

in these days, here is no even a good documentary. make some show or documentary like the Einstein and Eddington BBC.
and to watch this show ” Shark repellent experiment – Oceans – ” is really waste of time. here was so many documentaries about shark. it is enough. Just stop to make even a documentary or show about shark.

@7093948 well, first, i don´t think you´ll be able to buy it in a store (at least not for the next few years)
and there should be quite a few in zoos and oceanariums each year
but the real question is, if they might be able to produce it synthetic when they knew which exact compounds its made of

@DarkLion1989 yeah i know, but how likely are you going to find enough dead sharks to harvest and mass produce the repellent?

@quosmo1 why should the fear humans?
i mean, ofcours, humans hunt them and all that, but its not the humans the should fear but the ships
    humans themselfs are completly helpless
oh, and i dont think it has anything to do with them existig longer than us
humans are just not as activ in water (because they can´t)

@DarkLion1989 yeah i get it, was just being a smartass : anyway they should fear humans! but they have been around a lot longer than us (in evolutionary terms) so its not inherit in their nature …

@Timeofflux is that supposed to be an insult
i am the one that used that word to discribe humens, so i won´t be offended by it
and you to are a parasite

    by the way
    “Up Humans…down nature worshiping assholes”
no one here “worships” nature and even if there is one here who does, that still dosen´t make him an asshole
and humans are neither up nor down, they just are

its rather sad that people like you, who seem to have no intelligence at all still exist today

    @quosmo1 yeah, but you get what i mean, don´t you? ; )
sharks don´t fear humans and they don´t need to invent anything against them
