Actor Kyle Massey finished Monday’s episode in second place with 56 points out of a possible 60, Kyle took a page from Will Smith in Bel Air with his freestyle number, set to 69 Boyz’s romping ditty “Tootsie Roll.” Outfitted in a blindingly bright yellow shirt and matching blinged out graffitti’d hat, Kyle and Lacey threw caution to the wind and went to the left, to the left, to the right, to the right for their freestyle routine. And the crowd pleaser really did put his whole heart and soul (and both lungs) into the performance “Dancing With the Stars” allows the contestants to do a freestyle dance for the finals and Kyle Massey absolutely killed it with his freestyle hip hop boogaloo dance to “Tootsie Roll.” Clad in neon yellow, Kyle and partner Lacey tore up the dance floor with flips, bootie shakin’ and break dancing — they even threw in a few actual ballroom moves. What really impressed us, though, was how the energy never flagged. You could tell that Kyle left it all out there because afterward, he was sucking some major wind backstage. But that’s awesome, we love to see someone give it his all. The judges were big fans as well. Carrie Ann says, “This old Fly Girl dug it. I dub you the Fresh Prince of ‘DWTS’” and Len Brits, “I’m not a great lover of the boogaloo dancing, but this was great fun, great entertainment and I thoroughly enjoyed it.” think “boogaloo dancing” should be the new term for hip hop all across the globe?
