Previous to this call for boycotts on this latest controversial book, it had sold a total of 1 copy. Yes, I know a huge bane to society when 1 person actually bought this book, while after reporting, it soared to the top 100 paid books on the site. And how much is your boycott affecting amazon? Their stock is normal, and sales haven’t gone down.

After learning about Amazon selling these type books on their site… I immediately closed my account out. I had no idea that this was going on until I saw a news report on CNN last week. Needless to say, I was horrified !!

I used to spend a lot of money with Amazon, but their arrogance is disgusting. I appreciate that censorship can be a bad thing, but encouraging paedophiles??? How desperate are Amazon to make a few dollars? They need to know that the decision to support paedophiles will hit them where it hurts, in their pockets. I will NEVER shop with them again, and will use other shops that do not support paedophiles.

Hello pmlgrn, thanks for your comment. You can usually find those books under the political history section of your local library or local book shop. People who study political history usually read them. I’ve never seen a book on how to molest children and get away with it in any library or bookshop and I’ve been to a lot. No I didn’t boycott Amazon I closed my account. Political History is fascinating though isn’t it.

And where you say that its about shopping preference, the boycott is an attempt (from what i have heard from most people doing it) to make amazon stop selling the book, so its not about your preference, but about trying to change other people’s preference because you don’t like it.

The book is “advising” people to sexually molest/rape children…. antipaedo is simply “advising” people to do their shopping with a different vendor. Just for the record there are MANY other companies including Barnes and Noble that not only sell materials like this, but they also sell animal abuse materials as well (dog and cock fighting, etc). Apparently if there’s a demand, then there will be a supply. I’ve never understood how violent materials that promote or enhance illegal acts are allowed to be on the shelves. If you are outraged, please join and/or donate to the Humane Society of United States (hsus-org) or Safe Kids (safekids-org).

If you don’t want to buy this book, then DON’T. Thats perfectly fine, its your opinion. However it’s not your place to tell other people what literature they can/cannot read.
