It’s good if I have the option to choose between ad-supported and normal
@NickNackNation very, very true. Although, I don’t think an ad will constantly be taking up a part of the screen so the case idea probably wouldn’t work, but if it is, that’d be so smart! hahah
I read this article and i thought it was a good concept but how they are deploying it is bad. this is because if you get this discount whenever you use it you will just ignore the ads what they should do is make them externally have ads on them so when your using it others can see it clearly then you get your brand out like how it says amazon at the top make it say that in big font over the face and when your speaking with case designers make sure their cases dont cover it
@istephan007 :/
@westpointe3 I would rather pay some $25 bucks extra though and not have to even worry. That’s just my opinion though
Bad
@BrentLarryproduction -and to be honest, a tiny ad at the bottom of the screen wouldn’t be much of an issue.
noooooo especiall on a kindle
@westpointe3 exactly, so until they do something like this with Apple, (which they won’t lol), there isn’t much of a fix
@BrentLarryproduction that’s true. It’d be like jailbreaking something that doesn’t really need to be jailbroken. I don’t think any dev team would even consider the Kindle as a beneficial jailbreak. IF it was jailbroken anyway, I doubt that even 40-50% of people who own one would even consider jailbreaking. It wouldn’t really be useful, for now.
Unless they come out with new Kindle similar to the iPad 2 or better, I don’t think it’s necessary at this point.
@westpointe3 yea
But the thing is, something like the Kindle wouldn’t have a “jailbreak” because its simply not popular enough and worth anybody’s time
I would, then jailbreak.
